Tractor Systems
Our range of tractors have features only found on the more expensive tractor systems, such as Pan and Rotate head with 10 times Zoom lens as standard, a 200 metre kevlar reinforced cable that has a powered self-rewind reel, Inclinometer, Auto return to forward & Automatic scan. A sonde is also fitted as standard (locator extra).

The control box is PC controlled as standard, so that sewer maintenance software can be used realtime to create survey reports. The control box with a PC is tested to be ready for sewer maintenance software like WinCan. This makes the tractors as near to a one-man operation as possible.

Extra halogen lights can attach to the camera head (see photos), and with a raised gantry, larger sewers up to 1.3 metres have been surveyed and are well within reach of the camera because the zoom lens shows all the defects in great detail.
Three sets of wheels are included as standard; shown in the first two photos are the small, fixed, ones plus a set of medium size wheels and the larger "Cross Country" pneumatic wheels (Shown below) with four spacers to survey up to 1.3 metre diameter mains.
The powered rewind reel (below) shows the 200 metre kevlar reinforced cable which gives the cable good abrasion resistance. Longer cable lengths are available.
The powered rewind reel comes as standard with the tractor.

The Control Box shows the large 15" high brightness, anti-glare TFT flat screen with the DVD writer on the front and the two joysticks. The left joystick controls forward and reverse speeds, and the right joystick focus and zoom settings which allows one man to control the tractor completely and to review defects by zooming in and panning round or rotating to get the best view. With the "Creep" facility, the tractor can be moved slightly from forward of, to behind the defect to really get a good set of images. When the Automatic scan is fitted the pipe can be viewed 360 degrees by a simple push button control. This box can also be used to control the R250 pushrod reel.

The Control Box contains a PC with DVD writer. The PC is WinCan ready. You can cut or archive DVD's direct from the PC Hard Drive if you need to provide clients with survey details. Call Jetmasters on 0208 337 0033 for more information. Or, if you prefer, email us your details and we will call you.
The extra wheels that complete the 3 sets, with spacers and bolts.
The two extra sets of wheels, 1 solid & 1 pneumatic, will give the tractor the height to go over small obstacles and cope with tighter spaces. Both sets can be used with the spacers to set the tractor above the flow level and keep the camera head close to the centre of the pipe or sewer.
The extra wheels are fitted using bolts that go through the wheelsets connecting directly to the smallest wheels, which usually stay on the tractor. The motor is powerful enough to pull the full 200 metres of cable whilst most other tractors run out of power at around the 150 metre mark, so do check these points when deciding what is best for you.
The halogen light addition for the R550 tractor.
Along with the extra wheelsets, an extra light set that fixes onto the top of the camera-head gantry comes as standard and provides extra illumination for larger pipes.
The Pan and Rotate head works well with this and the 10 x Zoom lens gives very clear images of cracks and other problems. The halogen lights are removable and replaceable, just make sure the rubber seal properly surrounds the front lights to stop any water ingress.
